Context of the Position
As part of our strategic international expansion, JD Logistics is establishing its core infrastructure within the Italian market. This is a greenfield deployment phase, which requires our founding leadership team to manage high operational fluidity,
establish local processes from the ground up, and translate centralized global capabilities into localized execution.
This position is designed for an experienced engineering and facilities maintenance professional who will take full technical ownership of infrastructure deployment, automation setup, and equipment reliability across our Milan logistics network.
The Mission & Core Scope

- The Mission: Oversee the physical installation, testing, and continuous operational maintenance of all warehouse infrastructure, automation systems, and mechanical equipment to guarantee maximum uptime from Day One.
- The Scope: You will manage technical contractors, supervise the deployment of racking, automated conveyor belts, and sorting systems, and implement the local preventative maintenance framework for the Milan facilities.
