Account Executive (permanent position) - SAP Academy for Customer Success - Italy

At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we’ll bring out the best in you. As a member of the SAP Academy for Customer Success, you will prospect, qualify, sell, and close new business while helping customers achieve their full potential through our cloud solutions.

Official recruitment starts September 2026. Applicants to this pipeline position can join the SAP Academy for Customer Success Program, commencing March 2027. Info sessions will be hosted in the coming months.

Who You’ll Become

The Account Executive’s primary responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new business to existing and net new customers. You will empower customers to achieve their full potential by understanding their strategy, business goals, and desired outcomes, thereby driving cloud revenue growth through dedicated sales efforts.

What You’ll Do
- Complete a 10‑month learn‑apply program that includes classroom and field phases with your sales team.




- Immerse yourself in multi‑dimensional experiential learning focused on digital transformation, global intelligence, human skills, business and technology acumen, solution/industry knowledge, and strategy/tools/process.
- Drive value across the customer lifecycle through solution adoption and ongoing renewals that foster account expansion.
- Receive onboarding in your local market with on‑the‑job training and mentoring by a Senior Account Executive in the field.

- SAP Finance & Spend Management (F&S;) – Knowledge of accounting, procurement, and supplier management.
- SAP SuccessFactors (Human Capital Management – HCM) – Knowledge of core HR, payroll, talent management, employee experience, HR analytics, workforce planning, and performance management.
