Offer Description
The research activity will involve the development of computational methods to investigate particle and radiation transport and the measurement of radiation fields produced by particle accelerators (e.g., in hadrontherapy) by using Monte Carlo methods for particle and radiation transport and fluid dynamic approaches for contaminant transport (e.g., CFD methods), both under normal and emergency operating conditions. Experimental activity may also include the use, characterization, modification,



and engineering of measurement instrumentation for verification of simulation results.
