Job Description
DXC Technology Italy is looking for a Technical Leader to join our Application Service DXC Team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute business and technical software solutions to implement new or enhanced (upgrades or conversions).
- Analyze, identify and resolve business and/or technical problems using appropriate solutions/tools.
- Interact with client‑facing colleagues (Business Analyst and Project Manager) to understand the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategy.
- Stay current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies.
- Lead a small team, mentor and guide less senior developers in designing solutions.
Education and Skills
- Bachelor or Master degree (technical fields such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering preferred).
- Experience and knowledge of Digital Development Services, Agile Application Development, DevOps, cloud‑based applications and micro‑services architecture and patterns.
- Strong technical experience writing code in Java EE, Spring (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot),
single‑page application frameworks, micro‑services, Docker, design patterns, architecture design, SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with software development processes (Agile, Waterfall) and DevOps practices.
- Ability to use web‑development tools for new applications.
- Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving focus, decision‑making ability, teamwork.

Compensation & Benefits
The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €40,000, determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement and based on objective and gender‑neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience, and skills.
