Junior Engineering Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer
As a Junior Engineering Geologist in Ramboll Italy’s Site Solutions team, you contribute hands‑on geotechnical work for site assessment, due diligence in M&A;, and soil‑groundwater investigations. You’ll support design and risk assessments, working across cross‑functional projects for premier land development. This role offers growth in a collaborative, foundation‑owned company with a strong sustainability focus. You will help shape ground conditions insights and geotechnical solutions at scale.

- Organise and supervise Site Investigation activities
- Contribute to engineering risk assessments, technical documents, and calculations
- Assist with technical due diligence, soil risk assessment,



and risk mitigation per design standards
- Support a wide range of geotechnical design tasks in compliance with Eurocodes
- Assist in preparing expressions of interest and tender cost estimates
- Develop and technically assure designs, including client presentations and reports
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Geology or Civil/Geotechnical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Working knowledge of geotechnical software (Geo Studio suite including Slope/W and Seep/W) or similar
- Some experience in a design environment is advantageous
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong analytical, multitasking, and judgment abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
