Role Description The Assistant Pastry Chef is a full-time, on-site role based at Villa Fiorella Art Hotel in Massa Lubrense. This role supports the Pastry Chef in preparing, baking, and presenting pastries, desserts, and baked goods for the hotel’s restaurants and events. Daily tasks include measuring and mixing ingredients, assembling and decorating desserts, maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene,



and ensuring consistent portioning and presentation. The Assistant Pastry Chef collaborates closely with the broader kitchen team, helps manage inventory of pastry ingredients, and assists in developing new dessert items aligned with the hotel’s refined and artistic culinary concept.
Qualifications
Strong bakery and baking skills, including preparation of pastries, breads, and desserts.
Proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques relevant to pastry and dessert production.
Solid general culinary skills, with an understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
Experience in high-end hospitality, boutique hotels, or fine dining environments is an advantage.
Knowledge of HACCP or similar food hygiene protocols and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
Ability to follow recipes accurately while contributing creative ideas for dessert presentation.
