Marketing Project Manager – Events & Client Activation
Location: Milan, Italy (Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
Contract Duration: September 2026 – December 2026, with potential extension of up to 2 months
Daily Rate: Up to €250/day (depending on experience and skills)
Interview Process: 1 interview with consulting partner + 1 interview with end client
Overview
Our client, a leading international organisation, is looking for a Marketing Project Manager with 4-5 years of experience to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of marketing initiatives, with a strong focus on events management and client activation programmes .
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of marketing projects.
Plan and execute large-scale events, coordinating agencies, suppliers, logistics, and stakeholders.
Support customer engagement and client activation initiatives.
Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.




Prepare project updates and presentations for senior stakeholders.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
4-5 years of Project Management experience.
Proven background delivering marketing projects and events.
Experience in client activation, customer engagement, loyalty, or related marketing initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in Italian and English .
Desirable
Experience within the payments industry .
Understanding of the payments ecosystem, market dynamics, and customer engagement models.
