About the role Shieldai is looking for a territory leader to manage business growth and customer relations within the Italian defense sector. You will represent our portfolio of autonomous systems and aircraft while driving revenue and managing the full lifecycle of complex defense contracts.

What you'll do
- Define and implement the go-to-market strategy for the Italian market to meet growth targets.
- Manage a sales pipeline covering autonomy, aircraft, ISR, and mission systems.
- Oversee the entire deal process from initial customer shaping and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing.
- Build relationships with Ministry of Defence officials, military leadership, and procurement authorities.
- Explain the operational benefits and integration of the Hivemind, V-BAT, X-BAT, and ViDAR technologies.




- Establish regional partnerships and manage industrial participation or offset requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments including engineering, legal, government relations, and export compliance.
- Track forecasts, report on regional market intelligence, and manage competitive positioning.
- Support long-term account expansion and customer success after initial contract awards.

Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in business development, capture, sales, or account management within defense, aerospace, or national security.
- Proven track record of navigating international government procurement and complex stakeholder environments.
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and advance technically specific solutions.
- Executive presence for high-level interactions with government and military stakeholders.
- Technical understanding of AI-enabled capabilities, autonomous systems, or ISR technologies
