Splendido Mare, A Belmond Hotel, part of the LVMH Group, is a charming guesthouse in the heart of the Portofino. Its celebrated restaurant, DaV Mare, embodies all the pleasures of piazzetta living through refined cuisine, curated in partnership with the 3-Michelin-star Cerea family. Awash with nautical spirit, our gem on the Italian Riviera celebrates the art of Ligurian living in its purest form.
For the next season, we are looking for a Chef de Rang to join our DaV Restaurant team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.
He/she will report to the Restaurant Manager.
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Fullfil the operations on DaV Restaurant, according to the Company policies, high standards and procedures;
- Monitor all aspects of the customers' experience, from the restaurant layout before they arrive to the experience they receive during the service. Act to enhance a flawless service and anticipate Guests’ needs;




- Establish and maintain good relationships with all Guests and handle requests and enquiries;
- Coordinate and monitor Commis de Rang assigned to him/her;
- Contribute to the achievement of the economic targets of the outlet

Requirements
- Fluent in English and Italian; a third language preferred;
- Previous professional experience within the same role in a luxury environment or fine dining restaurant;
- Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally;
- Effective communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability;
- Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player.

Benefits
- We offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 4, Chef de Rang;
- Start date: April 2026 to End date: October 2026, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido Mare and a career path;
