For the opening of the new exclusive Akira Back restaurant, The St. Regis Rome is casting for a Bartender.
The ideal candidate is able to provide an outstanding customer service to our international guests whilst delivering service to the highest standards.
Reporting to the Specialty Restaurant Manager, the role will be part of the AB Restaurant team, proud to engage our guests service to our international guests and to create exquisite moments.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language.

Represent and be the face of the AB restaurant to all guests. Strong task and time management abilities. Interacting with guests with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance. Create classics and innovative drinks exceeding guests’ needs and expectations. Assess guests’ needs and preferences and make recommendations. Make recommendations and answer all related inquiries. Record drink orders accurately into Micros system. Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with standard recipes. Peel, slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks. Mix and garnish cocktails according to standard specs. Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies. Serve snacks to guests seated at the bar. Up-sell drink and food to guests.
