Specialty Sous Chef (Italian Cuisine)
Location: St. Lucia
Compensation: $40,000–$45,000 USD

We are recruiting on behalf of a renowned luxury resort in St. Lucia seeking an experienced Specialty Sous Chef to lead the culinary operations of its signature Italian restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef with a strong background in authentic Italian cuisine and luxury hospitality to join a dynamic culinary team in one of the Caribbean's premier resort destinations.
Key Responsibilities
Support the daily operations of the Italian specialty restaurant Ensure exceptional quality, presentation, and consistency across all menu offerings Lead, train,



and mentor kitchen team members to maintain luxury hospitality standards Assist with menu development, recipe consistency, and seasonal offerings Manage inventory, ordering, food cost controls, and waste reduction initiatives Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization Ideal Candidate Profile
Previous Sous Chef experience within a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale Italian restaurant Strong knowledge of authentic Italian cuisine and cooking techniques Proven ability to lead kitchen teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment Experience managing food costs, inventory, and kitchen operations Hands-on leadership style with excellent communication and organizational skills Caribbean or international luxury hospitality experience is considered an advantage
