and Kubernetes resource usage to identify actionable cost‑saving opportunities without compromising performance or reliability /li liBuild and maintain forecasting models, dashboards, and automated reporting that provide real‑time visibility into cost drivers and trends across teams and services /li liDevelop and implement tagging/labeling standards, budgeting processes, and governance policies to enable cross‑organizational accountability /li liCollaborate closely with Engineering, Finance, and Product to guide workload placement, architecture decisions, and scaling strategies /li liDrive adoption of FinOps best practices including rightsizing, reservation planning, autoscaling optimizations, multi‑cloud efficiency, and cost‑effective storage strategies /li liCreate and refine internal tooling, automation, and pipelines for cost monitoring, anomaly detection, and usage attribution across Kubernetes clusters, virtual machines and physical servers, located both in datacenters and cloud providers /li liAdvocate for a cost‑aware culture by training engineering teams, running FinOps reviews, and communicating insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders /li liStay up to date with the latest cloud pricing models, vendor offerings, and industry trends to continuously evolve Xsolla’s FinOps maturity /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul li5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles with a strong focus on cost optimization /li liHands‑on experience with GCP (priority) and AWS; strong understanding of cloud pricing models, resource types, and cost management tooling /li liDeep knowledge of Kubernetes resource allocation, autoscaling, workload placement, and cost attribution in distributed environments /li liProficiency with cloud cost tools (GCP Billing exports, BigQuery, AWS CUR, 3rd party cost monitoring tools (Kubecost, CloudHealth), cost monitoring features in observability tools, custom dashboards, etc.)
