Then we are looking for you as Manager Network Services, a critical leadership role within Oerlikon’s global IT Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for managing SDN and network security services within a cloud-driven environment. /p pJoin our Oerlikon team in Italy, in Brugherio (MB). /p h3Your Responsibilities /h3 ul liYou are responsible for developing and implementing a global strategy for network services, driving innovation, and ensuring operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with various stakeholders. /li liYou drive innovation by assessing and adopting emerging technologies in software-defined networking and supporting technology solutions. /li liYou lead and mentor a global team of engineers and specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. /li liYou closely work together with external partners and service providers to combine external knowledge with internal needs, to follow our goal to become a leading digital company. /li liAs part of our digital transformation path, we currently have multiple ongoing corporate IT projects. Your experience, your ideas and knowledge are highly appreciated in those areas. /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 ul liIn order to be successful in this challenging role, you bring along proven experience in IT infrastructure management and engineering, with a strong focus on network and network security services (SD-WAN, SD-Access, Wireless and Perimeter Security with focus on Cisco AWS products). /li li10 years of experience in network services, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. /li liIn your previous roles you already worked in a modern, hybrid environment consisting of on-premises services (branch sites)



as well as cloud services (datacenter services). /li liAs we build our new solutions “as code” to follow our digital path, your practical experience in programming is a plus. /li liStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner with IT leadership, business units, and vendors. /li liYou have a high level of self-initiative and drive to get things done. /li liYou are comfortable communicating fluently in Italian and in English (German is a plus). /li liLast but not least, if you like to travel from time to time, you are the perfect candidate and we would like to meet you soon. /li /ul h3We offer /h3 ul liA high level of responsibility and the opportunity to grow and develop. /li liBeing part of a global team using state-of-the-art technologies. /li liA very welcoming, supportive and collaborative team spirit and an open company culture. /li liHybrid working model: office-based with the flexibility to work remotely a few days a week. /li liA permanent, full-time employment contract under the Metalworking Industry National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL). The gross annual salary for this role starts at €59,000.
