ph3Job Description /h3 pThe job of a bSolution Engineer /b is defined in the sales process and has the duty to define the proper solutions for customers, to create lean quotation that embody a package of AVL and 3rd parties product as well as necessary services, to meet the customer’s specified requirements and to ensure accurate cost calculation following setup sales strategy. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liCollaborate with Key Account Manager (KAM), Global account Manager (GAM) and Sales Engineers (SE) to drive sales opportunities and achieve targets /li liProvide feedback on market trends and competitor activities to support business strategy /li liAct as the main technical interface for customers, supporting RFQ definition and analyzing requirements /li liPropose, present, and adapt tailored solutions, clearly communicating value, USPs, and technical concepts /li liDevelop and deliver technical presentations at customer locations /li liCreate accurate and competitive solution proposals combining equipment, software, and services /li liEnsure technical and cost correctness of quotations /li liTake ownership of proposals, including defining, organizing, and coordinating cross-functional proposal teams /li liDevelop and manage proposal timelines in alignment with sales and operations /li liPrepare technical proposals in line with sales processes,



including risk analysis and acceptance criteria definition /li liDevelop solution concepts, including technical documentation and Tabletop Drawings (TTD) /li liMaintain and track proposal data in Salesforce (status, versions, timelines) /li liEnsure proper handover of all required information to operations /li liInvolve project management early when needed and apply requirement engineering best practices /li /ul h3Profile Description /h3 ul liDegree in Engineering or a related technical field (University, University of Applied Sciences, Technical University, or equivalent) /li liMinimum 2 years of experience in proposal or solution engineering /li liProficiency in English (good to advanced level) /li liWillingness to travel /li /ul h3ABOUT AVL Italia S.p.A /h3 pAVL Italia, founded in 1980, provides the bfull portfolio of AVL technologies /b at the local level, offering customized solutions tailored to its customers.
