Candidates must be able to read, write and speak Italian with near‑native proficiency in professional and technical contexts. /p h3bPosition Purpose /b /h3 pThe successful candidate will use technical skills and experience to operate and maintain production processes efficiently, contributing to the delivery of products that exceed customer expectations in terms of quality, timeliness, performance, and value. /p h3bKey Responsibilities /b /h3 ul liIndependently perform complex CNC operations and production processes (machining, inspections, and testing) in the assigned department, in compliance with procedures, standard work and quality requirements. /li liEnsure production continuity and adherence to scheduled deliveries. /li liImprove machine performance by reducing downtime through proper autonomous maintenance, cleaning and timely reporting of issues. /li liIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using Lean principles and high‑performance systems. /li liActively participate in process improvement initiatives (e.g. Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, value stream mapping). /li liEffectively document and communicate machine status, completed activities and any irregularities to ensure smooth shift handovers. /li liAct as a technical point of reference, providing support, coaching, training and certification (formal and informal) to other associates in the area. /li liOperate in full compliance with company guidelines, including safety, quality and Hypertherm Associates’ values. /li /ul h3bRequirements /b /h3 ul liHigh school diploma or equivalent qualification. /li liProven experience as a CNC Operator. /li liStrong knowledge of CNC machines (terminology, machine types, components, setups and tooling). /li liExperience using measurement tools accurately and efficiently. /li liAbility to read and understand technical documentation and mechanical drawings. /li liBasic math skills (fractions/decimals, metric–imperial conversions, basic geometry, Cartesian system). /li liUnderstanding of Lean Manufacturing principles. /li liBasic problem‑solving skills. /li liGood written and verbal communication skills. /li liIntermediate proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office. /li /ul h3bWorking Hours and Shift Rotation /b /h3 ul liInitial schedule: 08:00 – 17:00 (during onboarding/probationary period). /li liAfter probation: alternating weekly shifts: 06:00 – 14:45 and 14:30 – 23:15. /li /ul pIn the future,
