Job DescriptionAt SGS, we are looking for an experienced Product Certification Operational Manager to lead our Industrial Safety team in Italy.SGS Industrial Safety operates in the following areas:Mechanical Safety (machinery, lifts, pressure vessels)Functional and Process SafetyStructural Safety (construction products)Fire & Explosion Safety (ATEX)Electrical SafetyNon-Destructive Testing (NDT)This is a strategic leadership role combining operational management, business development, and technical excellence within the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) industry. You will be responsible for driving business performance, ensuring compliance with national and international accreditation requirements,



and supporting the growth of our Industrial Safety services across Italy and the SGS global network.What you'll doLead the strategic and operational management of Industrial Safety in Italy.Take full ownership of operational performance, resource planning, and P&L.Ensure; the maintenance and extension of national and international accreditations and regulatory authorizations.Develop and expand our Industrial Safety service portfolio in line with market trends and emerging industry needs.Lead and develop internal teams and external technical experts, promoting capability development through coaching and collaboration.Partner with SGS affiliates worldwide to deliver international projects and strengthen cross-border collaboration.Support commercial growth by contributing to business development and client engagement activities.Business-level proficiency in EnglishMinimum of 10 years' experience in TIC, Technical Services, or OperationsProven
