With a presence in 38 countries across three continents and over 13,000 employees, our mission is to contribute to society through the continuous development of superior rail transport solutions.MissionReporting to the Deputy General Counsel and Senior Director Legal Italy, the Senior Legal Counsel will provide strategic advice, guidance and support that enables the business to achieve its strategic mission in a way that minimizes legal and compliance risk for the business.AccountabilitiesProviding legal support for commercial projects, including bidding, structuring, negotiation, contracting, procurement, contract execution, contract management and dispute resolution.Ensuring the compliance with the local public procurement law in all the public contracts,
including the compliance with the relevant applicable laws; Collaborating with the other legal functions of the Regions in order to fulfil the requirements provided for the company in participating to local bidding, public contracts and projects.Providing legal support in the constitution and/or management of the joint ventures, consortiums or any other kind of associations, PPP or project financings.Participating in cross-functional teams, counselling stakeholders on legal commercial and reputational risk, leading discussions on risk management and ethical practices in a user-friendly and pragmatic manner.Ensuring compliance with corporate governance and approval requirements, company secretarial requirements, general commercial matters.Managing the services of outside counsel as needed and within budget.Collaborating with other colleagues within the global Legal & Compliance team on joint initiatives.Req
