With a strong engineering-led culture and a growing portfolio of hyperscale developments, they are now seeking an Electrical QAQC Lead to join their team on a flagship project based in Milan.
The Electrical QAQC Lead ensures that all electrical systems and installations meet the required quality standards, specifications, and industry regulations. This includes reviewing design documents, testing procedures, and inspecting materials to confirm compliance with the project's quality requirements.
The lead is responsible for creating and implementing detailed QAQC plans for the electrical works in the data centre construction. These plans outline the testing, inspection, and approval processes for electrical systems, ensuring all phases of the project meet quality standards.
Conducting Inspections and Audits
The QAQC Lead regularly inspects electrical installations, systems, and equipment during construction. They carry out audits to ensure that electrical contractors and subcontractors adhere to project specifications, regulatory codes, and safety standards. They also address any non-conformities that arise during inspections.
Coordinating Testing and Commissioning
The lead coordinates and supervises the testing and commissioning of electrical systems such as power distribution, backup systems (generators, UPS), and fire alarm systems. They ensure that all electrical systems are thoroughly tested and verified before being handed over to the operations team.
