As a Project Engineer, part of the Maintenance & Engineering team, you will assist in the provision of professional high level technical services to the PPG Milan Plant Facility by ensuring compliance of projects national laws and codes, to PPG Standards, Policy, Technical Guidelines and Procedures and industry best practises. You will also work to achieve the PPG vision Engineering Mission and Commitment statements, acting in a professional, supportive manner and cooperating with fellow Staff. **Responsibilities**: - Support the Engineering & MTCE Manager and to other areas of the Engineering team.
- Manage the planning and delivery of multiple nominated Capital Works Projects including preparation of Tender and quotation documents for consultants and contractors
- To oversee design and construction of developments ensuring compliance with timing, investment capital spending forecast, project specifications
- Develop and continuously update the Technical Standards, Technical Guidelines and associated systems and procedure
- Assist in ensuring business and legislative requirements are adhered to at all times
- Implement actions to ensure the reduction of PPG Milan exposure to risk management issue
- Communicate effectively at all levels and respond efficiently to achieve determined service level expectations and requirements of PPG **Qualifications**: - Degree in Industrial/Chemical Engineering or Industrial Chemistry or ,alternatively, Mechanical Engineering
- Consolidated experience in the role, gained in modernly organized companies strongly oriented towards the market

- In-depth and documentable technical knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in project management of construction/restoration programs, plants construction/restoration programs and/or essential service development programs
- Experience in development assessment, construction supervision and the subdivision process
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and Access and Autocad software (or comparable) **Benefits/Contract**: - Permanent contract
