As part of the continued growth of Abylsen Italy, specializing in Transportation (Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, Space and Railway), Heavy Industry (Metallurgy and Steel), Energy, and IT, we are looking for a Gangway System Engineer to join one of our clients operating in the Railway sector.
Main activities:
- Coordinate and oversee the assigned onboard subsystems throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Act as the technical interface between internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and project teams.
- Supervise functional testing activities during the validation, verification, and certification phases.
- Manage the assigned onboard subsystems, ensuring effective collaboration with suppliers, customers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Participate in design reviews to define subsystem architecture, configuration, and technical requirements.
- Work closely with the Requirements Manager to manage, allocate, and maintain traceability of project requirements related to the assigned subsystems.
Technical skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the railway industry, particularly in onboard subsystem integration, will be considered a strong advantage.
- Ability to manage the allocation of system requirements to subsystems and coordinate their implementation with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to define subsystem architecture, functionality, and operating concepts
