Roles & Objectives

As an intern in the Testing Technology Department at Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A., you will report to the Sr. Engineer Testing Technology and be based in Zola Predosa (BO). In this role, you will join the Team, supporting scientists, laboratories, and manufacturing teams in evaluating and implementing new testing technologies for quality control.



Your responsibilities will include setting up test environments, defining design of experiments (DOE), conducting tests, collecting and analyzing data, and generating meaningful reports to drive product and process improvements.

Specific Responsibilities
- Define and set up test environments, fixtures, and equipment for new testing technologies;
- Design and plan experiments (DOE) to evaluate testing methods and quality control parameters;
- Conduct laboratory tests and trials following established protocols and safety guidelines;
- Collect, organize, and manage test data from various sources ensuring data integrity and traceability;
- Analyze test results using statistical tools and methods to extract meaningful insights;
- Generate comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings, conclusions, and recommendations;
- Present results and takeaways to cross-functional teams and stakeholde
