What you’ll do
- Partner with Account Executives to manage the technical strategy for opportunities from initial qualification to final closure.
- Conduct discovery sessions to identify technical challenges and business goals, mapping them to specific Datadog solutions.
- Perform product demonstrations, workshops, and technical presentations for diverse audiences, including executive stakeholders.
- Manage end-to-end Proof of Value (POV) evaluations, including scoping, success criteria definition, and project timeline management.




- Build and cultivate technical champions within client organizations to influence the sales cycle.
- Provide field insights and customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deal progress and customer interactions within internal systems.
- Proactively resolve technical or organizational blockers by collaborating with internal GTM, Support, and Product teams.
- Mentor team members and create reusable assets to improve regional knowledge sharing.

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a similar technical customer-facing role within an enterprise setting.
- Advanced knowledge of public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, APM/tracing, security, developer experience, and observability.
