Purpose :
The
Mechanical Engineer
will join our R&D; team, working closely with a Senior R&D; Mechanical Designer to develop innovative solutions for our product portfolio. The role begins with customer requirements and transforms them into concrete technical concepts to support product development. This position plays a key role in continuous improvement activities and contributes to the evolution of our technologies through hands-on design and collaboration.
General Responsibilities:
You will actively participate in all phases of the product development cycle, including:
Conducting initial studies, technical analyses, and feasibility assessments.
Designing components and assemblies, supporting prototyping activities, and refining concepts.
Managing Bills of Materials (BOM) and collaborating closely with suppliers.
Supporting the transition from prototype to production, ensuring manufacturability and alignment with internal processes.
Collaborating with the Quality Control team, Operations, and the Moulding Department to ensure consistency and technical accuracy throughout product development.
Required Experience & Education
Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Knowledge of
Creo
and
Windchill .
Previous experience within an RD
