AVL Italia S.P.A. offers a job in Italy (IT) asElectrical & Special Systems Design Team LeaderThe candidate will report to the Head of Engineering and will be responsible for leading the Electrical & Special Systems Design Team, coordinating project activities, and contributing directly to the electrical design of industrial systems for engine and vehicle testing facilities.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead and manage the Electrical and Special Systems Design TeamCoordinate project activities and ensure alignment with project objectivesMonitor project progress, timelines, and resource planningEnsure proper implementation of internal processes and engineering standardsDesign electrical and special systems for engine and vehicle testing facilitiesPrepare technical documentation, including:
technical reports; technical specifications and tender documents; cost estimates and bills of quantitiesDevelop electrical single-line diagramsProduce layout drawings and system plansPerform calculations and system sizingYOUR PROFILE:Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial plant/electrical system designDegree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma as an Electrical TechnicianProven leadership and team management skillsProficiency in AutoCADGood knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsSolid understanding of relevant standards and regulations (e.G., Low Voltage, EMC, Machinery Directive, ATEX)Availability for short business trips within Italy and occasional international travelStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a teamDynamic mindset with strong problem-solving abilitiesEnglish language knowledge (from good to advanced)NICE TO HAVEExperience with Progetto Integra softwareExperience with DiaLux softwareExperience with Eplan P8Experience with TNE softwareKnowledge of Performance Level calculation toolsFamiliarity with PLC-based systemsRegistration to Professional AssociationWe offerStarting salary: 48kCCNL Metalmeccanico IndustriaContact Re
