The Senior Process Engineer leads and manages the successful industrialization of new semiconductor packages in high-volume backend manufacturing (assembly and testing). This role focuses on process development, optimization, qualification and the smooth transition of new products from development to volume production in adherence to business targets. ResponsabilitàDuties & Responsibilities The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Design, develop, qualify,
and industrialize new assembly processes for semiconductor packaging across various market segments: Industrial, Automotive, and Space. Lead the transition of new process designs from the initial project phase (sample prototype | conceptual design) to high-volume production. Learn and apply advanced engineering process design methodologies (DOE, advanced statistical analysis, AI/ML) to establish robust and scalable processes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: R&D;, Product Quality, Product Engineering, and suppliers (materials and equipment). Mentor process technicians and junior engineers serve as technical references and guidance for the production team during the ramp-up phase.
