You will join a modern, multicultural environment, working alongside highly skilled professionals in a dynamic and innovative setting.For the Malta site , we are currently looking for a IT Engineer to join the IT Automation Support Team. ResponsibilitiesThe position holder will support robotics and automation manufacturing lines by handling incidents and requests to restore service, implementing workarounds where necessary to ensure production equipment remains operational. The role also involves analyzing issues using structured resolution methodologies to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions. In addition,



the position will support manufacturing change requests related to new business requirements and contribute to improving equipment efficiency.The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Troubleshoot issues related to applications such as AMA (Activity Manager Automation), EICs (Equipment Integrated Controller), and EMCS (Equipment Monitoring and Control System) within the robotics and automation environment. Apply ST standard resolution methodologies, such as 8D, to identify root causes and implement permanent corrective and preventive actions. Support users in addressing new business requirements. Test new features in software releases related to automation, ensuring existing features continue to function as expected. Test and deploy new versions of EICs (Equipment Controller) and perform characterization and buy-off activities for EICs on new equipment types when required.
