Data Engineer Oerlikon is embarking on an ambitious data-driven journey, with a brand-new cloud data platform to be built at the heart of this transformation as enabler for Analytics, AI and digitalization in general. Data Engineering will play a key role in this journey, ensuring the delivery of Data Products.In this context we are looking for you as a Data Engineer to analyze business requirements, transferring them into solution concepts and implementing them on our new MS Azure/Fabric based Data Platform. The position is based in Brugherio (MB) and offers a hybrid work model.Your Responsibilities Analyze business requirements related to data management and analytics.Develop solution concepts, following guidelines, templates and best practices.Implement data management solutions, included integration, transformation, data modelling and storage on Microsoft.Deliver maintenance to developed solutions if necessary.Design, develop,



and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.Your ProfileBachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology or similar.Proven track record of at least 4 years of work experience in roles related to data management and analytics, such as data engineer, data architect and similar.Proficiency in data modeling methodologies and tools (understanding of concepts such as normalization, and experience in designing entity-relationship diagrams and data flow diagrams).Experience with cloud data platform solutions including data storage, integration tools and frameworks, data management and data governance products.Understanding of general cloud services for data storage, processing, and analytics.Knowledge and practical experience with DevOps principles and tools, and how to use them in a data management/analytics environment. This includes knowledge of CI/CD on Azure and GitHub.Proficiency in Italian and in Engl
