This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Sales Specialist based in Italy.
As an Associate Sales Specialist, you will help drive the growth of innovative sports technology solutions across Southern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will combine your passion for professional football with a strong commercial mindset to develop new business and expand existing customer relationships. Working closely with regional sales teams and business development managers, you will guide customers through the full sales journey, from prospecting and discovery to demonstrations, negotiation and closing. You will engage with senior football stakeholders, including Sporting Directors, Heads of Recruitment, Scouts and Analysts. The role offers exposure to professional clubs, leagues, federations and other sporting organisations across dynamic international markets. Accountabilities
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across professional football, including Sporting Directors, Heads of Recruitment, Scouts, Analysts, Technical Directors and other relevant stakeholders.
Own and deliver an individual sales quota across the assigned Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa territory.
Generate, qualify, develop and close new business opportunities with professional football clubs, federations, leagues and other sporting organisations.
Identify cross-selling, expansion and upselling opportunities within the existing customer base.
Support business development-led opportunities where scouting and analysis solutions form part of broader technology or multi-product agreements.
Proactively prospect target accounts and stakeholders to build a healthy and qualified sales pipeline.
