Job Purpose
The Senior Buyer leads the team that manages relationships with suppliers, follows the strategies of central purchasing and ensures production with procurement of parts. The role is responsible for the timely and efficient sourcing of hydraulic, pneumatic and steering systems for our leading agricultural company.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing Management

- Manage procurement of medium‑to‑high‑complexity components for European plants, covering hydraulic,
pneumatic, and steering systems within the Mechanical commodity group.
- Coordinate the external company in charge of purchase requisition and sourcing activity, monitoring KPIs such as ageing and purchase requisition backlog.
- Lead tactical and strategic activities related to the purchase of critical production parts.
- Support new product launch initiatives while developing and implementing cost‑reduction and sourcing strategies to improve quality, technology and delivery performance.
- Forecast and report economic savings performance, negotiate price reductions and long‑term agreements, conduct market tests, and award new business to maximize leverage.
- Analyze various reports to capture opportunities and drive improvements.
