Role Overview

The Solution Sales Executive (SSE) Expert combines deep SAP expertise, business acumen, and end-to-end solution domain knowledge to drive line‑of‑business cloud revenue, accelerate customer success, and position SAP as a market leader. The SSE shapes transformative solutions and delivers measurable value to customers through thought leadership, innovation, and strategic execution while supporting both specific Lines of Business (LoB) and the overall "One SAP" strategy. This role focuses on selling SAP Supply Chain Management Software and requires a minimum of 12 years of experience, including at least four years of proven sales of supply‑chain management solutions.

Responsibilities
- Account ownership & strategy – serve as the designated LoB owner, develop multi‑year strategic account plans, and align customer objectives with company goals.
- Drive end‑to‑end customer value journey by mapping current‑state processes, identifying high‑impact gaps, and designing a transformation roadmap that delivers measurable business value.




- Pipeline & opportunity management – identify, qualify, and develop expansion opportunities within existing accounts, build a healthy pipeline, forecast revenue, and coordinate with sales to close deals.
- Product success & innovation – lead go‑to‑market efforts for new products and capabilities, engage early with customers to validate concepts, capture feedback, and shape product roadmaps, with a focus on AI and other innovation initiatives.
- Enablement, demos & prototypes – ensure demo systems, trial environments, and enablement assets are production‑ready; support solution advisors and learning teams with scalable training and tailored demos.
- Value proposition & executive engagement – co‑create executive‑level narratives and ROI analyses, lead strategic discovery workshops, and accelerate buying decisions beyond formal RFP cycles.
