International Student Support Assistant – Freelance

We are looking for a reliable and friendly person based in or near Rozzano, Pieve Emanuele or Milan to provide practical on-ground support to international students attending Humanitas University.

This is a flexible, assignment-based freelance role. The number and timing of assignments will depend on student arrivals and support requirements.

Main responsibilities

- Meet students at airports, train stations or bus stations.
- Accompany students to their accommodation.
- Provide an orientation of the university area and local transport.
- Assist students with purchasing SIM cards and opening bank accounts.
- Support students with local registration and residence-permit procedures.
- Help with accommodation matters and landlord communication.
- Accompany students to appointments and assist with submitting or collecting documents.
- Provide occasional follow-up support.
- Complete simple reports after each assignment.

Requirements

- Currently living in or near Rozzano,



Pieve Emanuele or Milan.
- Good knowledge of Milan and its public transport system.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Italian language skills are strongly preferred.
- Reliable, organised and comfortable supporting international students.
- Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends.
- Able to travel to airports, stations, accommodation and the Humanitas University area.
- Knowledge of Italian administrative procedures is an advantage.
- A driving licence and access to a car are advantageous but not essential.

Payment

- €50 for each completed student arrival-support assignment.
- €7 per hour for additional support.
