BCIC Swiss GmbH | Best Connect International Company is looking for an experienced Hardware Support Technician | On-site position in Italy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide hardware break-fix support, including whole-unit replacement when required
- Manage and maintain on-site spare hardware and equipment
- Deliver deskside and end-user IT support
- Perform hardware installations, replacements, upgrades, and configuration changes
- Troubleshoot issues across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices
- Support network-related issues involving LAN, WAN, Wireless, VPN, and VLAN
- Provide professional support to end users, management, VIP users, and local technical teams
- Follow defined IT processes, work instructions, and escalation procedures
- Manage proactive and reactive technical escalations
- Perform asset tagging and maintain accurate records in the asset management system
- Conduct weekly physical inventory checks and report hardware movements and outflows




- Coordinate with external suppliers for repair and replacement of damaged or faulty equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular status and inventory reports

Requirements:

- Valid work permit to work in Italy
- Several years of professional IT support or hardware support experience
- Strong hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and break-fix support
- Good knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices
- Understanding of LAN, WAN, Wireless, VPN, and VLAN
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in an on-site environment
