ppThe Accountant ensures accurate and timely management of the company's financial transactions, supporting both the general ledger and the accounts payable/receivable processes.
The role contributes to monthly closing, compliance with local regulations, and provides financial data to internal stakeholders.
/ph3Typical Accountabilities: /h3ulliAccounts Payable -Process supplier invoices, verify documentation, manage payment schedules, reconcile statements, and ensure compliance with internal policies /liliAccounts Receivable -Issue customer invoices, monitor outstanding payments, manage credit notes, and support collection activities /liliGeneral Accounting -Maintain accurate accounting records, support journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations /liliMonth-End Closing -Assist with closing activities, prepare reports, and ensure deadlines are met /liliVAT Tax Compliance -Support VAT calculations, Intrastat, and other statutory requirements in line with local regulations /liliExpense Management -Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring policy compliance /liliFixed Assets -Maintain asset register, track depreciation, and support audits /liliAudit Support -Provide documentation and explanations during internal and external audits /liliCross-Functional Collaboration -Work closely with Finance, Procurement, HR, and Operations to ensure data accuracy and process alignment /li /ulh3Required Skills Experience: /h3ulliDiploma or degree in Accounting, Finance,
