The role involves design, development, testing and commissioning of automation systems and monitoring solutions for Pipelines in the Oil Gas industry. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop and program PLC software and architectures, focusing on Structured Text (ST) control logic for industrial automation applications. /li liDevelop and test high‑level object‑oriented software (C++, C#, Python) to interface machines with data acquisition and supervisory systems; implement computer vision algorithms and develop graphical user interfaces. /li liWrite technical specifications for automation solutions and design studies; supervise supplier activities throughout the procurement lifecycle. /li liSupport machine and plant commissioning, responsible for software startup, debugging and validation. /li liProvide remote and on‑site technical support for troubleshooting and resolution of software‑related issues. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Automation Engineering or related disciplines (Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Engineering). /li li1–2 years of experience in automation systems development and familiarity with at least one industrial automation platform (Beckhoff, BR, Siemens or Rockwell).



/li liStrong knowledge of PLC‑based programming and object‑oriented programming. /li liGood command of English (written and spoken) and full command of Italian. /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liKnowledge of PLC‑based programming and OOP. /li liKnowledge of main industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, CANopen, ProfiNet) and networking configuration. /li liDesign, configuration and test of motion control functions (drives, axes, motors). /li liBasic knowledge of electronics, sensors, actuators and ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. /li liCapability to design and develop integration solutions for electronic components within automated systems. /li liBasic knowledge of AI and Machine Learning approaches applied to industrial automation. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills, a hands‑on approach to system integration and troubleshooting, and a teamwork attitude. /li /ul h3Travel Working Conditions /h3 pPosition requires availability to travel abroad and undertake short‑term international assignments. /p h3Compensation Benefits /h3 ul liPermanent Contract – CCNL Energia e Petrolio. /li liFor home office contract: pay not lower than 43,000 €. /li liCorporate benefits: health insurance, internal gym, discounts, partnerships, health‑family‑well‑being services, and in‑house cafeteria. /li liHybrid working model: lavoro da remoto options and flexible hours. /li liLocation: Milano Santa Giulia. /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Compliance /h3 pThe Decision Is Made In Compliance With the principle of equal pay for the same work or work of equal value; with the pay transparency requirements set out in EU Directive 2023/970 and the relevant national implementing legislation.
