The simplicity of the process as well as the use of readily available off-the-shelf equipments opens the way for Energy Dome to quickly become an important player in the energy storage market. /p pAs we expand our international footprint, we are strengthening our project execution capabilities and are looking for an experienced bProject Director /b to lead full-scope EPC projects from development through commissioning and handover. /p h3Role Overview /h3 ul liLocation: Milan based with frequent travels, globally /li liReports to: Chief Operating Officer /li /ul pThe Project Director will be fully accountable for the end-to-end delivery of complex utility-scale energy projects executed under EPC or multi-contract structures. /p pThis role requires a senior professional with a strong EPC background who has successfully led projects from permitting and detailed engineering through construction, commissioning, and final handover. /p pThe Project Director will lead cross-functional teams and manage all key subcontractors across engineering disciplines, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met. /p pThis role is critical in projects where Energy Dome is not only supervising site activities but directly responsible for full EPC execution. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Project Leadership Accountability /h3 ul liAssume full PL responsibility for assigned projects. /li liLead projects from permitting and pre-construction through commissioning and handover. /li liEnsure alignment between development, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. /li liAct as the primary escalation point for all project-related matters. /li /ul h3Engineering Technical Oversight /h3 ul liCoordinate and supervise all engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, process, control systems). /li liEnsure technical coherence between design, procurement, and construction. /li liOversee design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering initiatives.
/li liEnsure constructability and commissioning readiness are embedded from early project phases. /li /ul h3Construction Site Management /h3 ul liOversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements. /li liSupervise EPC contractors and key subcontractors. /li liMonitor progress, manage change orders, and resolve critical site issues. /li liEnsure site execution aligns with contractual milestones. /li liLead commissioning strategy and execution. /li liEnsure proper testing, validation, and performance verification of systems. /li liManage final documentation and client handover. /li liEnsure contractual performance guarantees are achieved. /li /ul h3Contract Stakeholder Management /h3 ul liManage EPC contracts and major subcontract agreements. /li liLead negotiations, claims management, and variation orders. /li liInterface with clients, authorities, lenders, and strategic partners. /li liMaintain strong relationships with local and international stakeholders. /li /ul h3Risk Financial Management /h3 ul liMonitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost control. /li liProactively manage risks and mitigation plans. /li liEnsure compliance with corporate governance and reporting requirements. /li /ul h3Required Experience Background /h3 ul liMinimum 10 years of experience in EPC project delivery within the energy, power generation, industrial plants, or large infrastructure sectors. /li liStrong experience in construction management of complex industrial plants. /li liDirect experience managing multidisciplinary engineering subcontractors. /li liSolid background in commissioning and plant startup activities. /li liDemonstrated experience managing large-scale contractors and site teams. /li liStrong understanding of contractual frameworks (EPC, EPCm, multi-lot structures). /li liExperience operating in international and multicultural environments.
