Opportunity for growth within the company is available to those willing to take on the challenge and commitment required to succeed in such a competitive industry. /p h3Requirements /h3 pThe position of Fuel Technician reports to the appropriate Department Manager and is responsible for the proper receipt, teardown, inspection, part/material requisition, assembly, and testing in accordance with approved technical data to meet established business objectives. /p h3Responsibilities and Duties /h3 ul liPerform work assignments as directed by shop management. /li liEnsure all work is performed in accordance with approved technical data, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements /li liRecord information and complete work assignments in compliance with the Inspection Procedures Manual and Quality Policies and Procedures. /li liUse appropriate inspection techniques and calibrated equipment for the unit/part being serviced. /li liUtilize proper test equipment or suitable alternatives and perform preventative maintenance as needed. /li liComply with all safety directives and maintain a clean and safe work environment. /li liRead and interpret schematics and drawings. /li liMaintain personal and shop‑calibrated tools in satisfactory operational condition. /li liAssist the Department Manager and Engineers with developing new repair capabilities.



/li liInteract daily with Quality Inspectors, Engineers, and Buyers. /li /ul h3Education, Knowledge, and Skill /h3 ul liHigh school diploma GED. /li li2 Years aviation Fuel experience. /li li2-5 years of combined bench or line experience working on Fuel components. Performing teardown, inspection, parts requisition, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul of aircraft Fuel components. Extensive knowledge of Fuel components is required for this position. /li liKnowledge of and the ability to operate various test equipment. /li liMust be capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced industry while meeting established timelines. /li liExcellent verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with all levels of internal contacts. /li liDetail orientated and organized. /li liWillingness to work additional hours as required to meet operational objectives. /li liStrong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions, exercising risk‑taking when necessary. /li liAbility to prioritize tasks and work without close supervision. /li /ul h3Physical Requirements /h3 ul liWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, and handle objects. /li liOccasionally required to push/pull, stack, reach above shoulder level, or carry lightweight materials. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
