ph3Overview /h3pbSr. Manager Quality Engineer for Power Modules (m/f/d) /b – Lead a team of product quality engineers to support the full lifecycle quality of power module products powered by SiC, GaN and IGBT technologies. The role focuses on quality strategy development, qualification planning, risk management, and customer engagement across research development, manufacturing, and operations. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliBuild, manage and mentor a high‑performing team of quality engineers. /liliDesign and execute quality management strategies, including qualification approaches for next‑generation SiC and GaN power modules. /liliAct as the voice of the customer, driving quality requirements and ensuring expectations are met throughout development and release. /liliDefine and enforce compliance with international standards (AEC‑Q101, AQG 324, JEDEC, AEC‑Q, customer specific) and internal quality policies. /liliAnalyze risk, data, failure mechanisms and reliability measures; develop and oversee reliability test concepts with external partners. /liliLead structured problem‑solving for customer issues, complaints, and technical questions. /liliPrepare and deliver customer‑friendly quality reports and presentations. /liliCollaborate with cross‑functional teams (RD, manufacturing, marketing, sales) to embed quality into product design and production. /liliSupport qualification of manufacturing processes and tools, and maintain accurate product documentation.



/liliTravel up to 15% within the EU; Lisbon and Catania may require up to 30% travel. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliPhD or master’s in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. /liliMinimum 7years’ experience in power module technology and assembly processes. /liliStrong knowledge of semiconductor physics, particularly SiC/GaN domains. /liliExperience with international quality standards and policies (AEC‑Q101, AQG324). /liliProven track record as a team leader with direct reports. /liliFamiliarity with measurement methods, device testing environments and standard software tools. /liliExcellent analytical, problem‑solving and presentation skills. /liliFluent in English (written and spoken) for international communication. /liliAbility to work under pressure, influence cross‑functional stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement. /li /ulh3Benefits /h3pCompetitive salary, relocation support for EU travel, and a dynamic, multicultural work environment.
