OHB Italia is seeking for its Satellites & Missions Business Unit in Milan, Rome or Turin for immediate start a Senior Satellite Verification & Validation (V&V;) Manager Ref.
V&V;_**** You will join a team of system engineers, bringing your experience in leading and driving satellite activities along the whole project lifecycle, including design, development, integration, verification, launch and in-orbit operations.
As a V&V; manager, you will drive all the activities relevant with the specification, verification and validation of the project, while respecting the satellite schedule and budget.
Tasks: Lead the Verification and Validation of small satellites Coordination, monitoring and ensuring the timely implementation of all relevant V&V; activities Contribution to preparation of Design, Development and Verification Plans Confident handling of development processes (e.g. V-model)Definition and management of Model Philosophy and HW matrix Management of the requirement specification process, from customer to Equipment level Contribution to definition of verification methods and stages Contribution to the definition of the testing infrastructure (eg. Flatsat,



SCOEs etc.)Support satellite verification and AIT activities Preparation and execution of system and acceptance tests with customers Evaluation, logging and evaluation of test results as well as the documentation of deviations Qualifications: Strong knowledge of satellite systems engineering, including requirements engineering, functional analysis, verification control5+ years of hands-on working experience.
Experience in satellite verification, including participation to AIT campaigns Excellent sense of responsibility Structured hands-on work-approach Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously Good interpersonal skills Fluent in English University degree (Master/Ph D) or equivalent education plus relevant proven work experience in industry Assets: Requirements management tools (Doors, etc.)Model Based System Engineering Concurrent engineering tools (Confluence, Jira, etc.)Italian language The gross annual remuneration package will be determined based on the degree of alignment between the candidate's profile and the requirements of the role, as well as the level of professional experience acquired.
