Your contribution to Prysmian's Success: We are looking for a Senior Logistics Buyer to join our office in Milan. Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, you will: Manage end-to-end procurement activities for logistics services in EPCI projectsFocus on complex logistics flowsLead negotiation for multimodal transport solutions (road, sea, river)Transport of cable drums (large and extra-large reels, escort transport)Freight forwarding services for land and submarine cablesStorage and handling operations at port and onshore ISA last-mile transport to installation sites customsDevelop logistics contracting strategies aligned with project schedules, installation sequences, and risk mitigation plansOptimize cost structures while ensuring service reliability under tight project timelinesMonitor and assess supplier performance through KPIsManage critical escalations through an effective multi-stakeholder coordinationWork closely with Project Management, Engineering and Operations to ensure full alignment between procurement and execution phasesEnsure contractual compliance, including insurance clauses, liabilities, delivery terms and project-specific requirementsHave a direct and tangible impact on large-scale energy projectsActively contribute to energy transitionBe exposed to complex,
global logistics operationsBe involved in strategic decision-making for logistics solutionsLead the development and the qualification of new logistics suppliersYou are the right fit if you have/are:Fluent in English and ItalianDegree in Engineering/Supply Chain 5+ years in logistics procurement Experience in multimodal and heavy cargo Knowledge of contractual templates Strong analytical and negotiation skills Stakeholder managementStrong communication & interpersonal skillsDecision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindsetWhat we offerType of contract:Permanent Location:Milan, hybridApplicable Collective Agreement: CCNL Gomma, Plastica, Cavi elettrici e affini.Job Level/Category:(Impiegato) in line with the applicable collective agreement.Gross annual salary no less than: 38.000,00The position is eligible for an individual or collective variable incentive based on the achievement of predetermined performance objectives.
