Mechanical Integration Mechanical Design Engineer (MIT MDE)Can be specialized in Mechanical Fitting, Cabin, Interior PURPOSE OF THE JOB- Managing CAD activities- Integrating mechanical subsystems by ensuring progressive maturity of allocated volumes- Performing 3 D/2 D of home made parts- Ensuring compliance of bought parts with defined allocated volumes- Performing assembly drawings ORGANISATIONOrganisation structure (job belongs to..) : Engineering (Site)Reports directly to: EN-DR-12 Mechanical Integration Domain Leader (MIT DL)Or Relevant specialized Domain Leader Other reporting to: None Direct reports (functionally): EN-DR-42 Mechanical Integration CADOr Relevant specialized Mechanical CADNetwork & Links Internal- All domain peers - Structural design counterparts- Routing and tubing counterparts- Structural integrity discipline engineers- Project Industrial representatives- Project Maintenance representatives External None MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES




Performance Measurement/KPI's- On-time delivery of 3 D- On-time delivery of 2 D or annotated 3 D- Quality of deliverables (first time right)Responsibilities Responsible for- Managing CAD activities- Performing and maintaining SAM (Space Allocation Mock up) in accordance with progressive maturity rules considering all constraints- Creating annotated SAM for exchanges with suppliers- Checking compliancy of supplier feedback with relevant SAM- Performing 3 D detailed design of home made parts considering -- Allocated volumes given as inputs-- Interfaces defined with stakeholders-- Technical referential (materials characteristics)-- Manufacturability and maintainability constraints- Performing 2 D or annotated 3 D detailed design of home made parts considering internal rules of data structuration- Performing assembly drawings by generating BOM for industrialization Contributes to- Providing weight data to Weight Discipline Engineer- Stack up calculations MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Educational Requirements & Experience Mandatory: Graduated from Mechanical Engineering school with Master of Science degree Desirable: None Experience Mandatory: - Mechanical Engineering preferably applied to Railway products with 1 to 2 years of experience Desirable:- 3 D Modelling, drawing creation- Design in heavy industry Competencies & Skills Technical - English intermediete level in read/writing and fluent speaking in technical meetings Behavioral- Rigorous Salary Range *************** CCNL (Contratto Collettivo Nazionale del Lavoro) applied: Metalmeccanici Industria You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
