The Construction Machinery Department in Italy is looking for a
Service Area Manager
to provide technical support to the Italian dealer network, reporting directly to the Service Manager.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening dealer performance, supporting after-sales activities, and contributing to the continuous improvement of Kubota's Construction Machinery products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and support the implementation of Kubota's after-sales service strategies across the dealer network.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to Italian dealers and their service teams on the Construction Machinery product range.
Act as the primary interface between dealers and Kubota factories for technical matters and escalations.
Visit assigned dealers regularly to assess service performance, share technical expertise, and provide on-site support when required.
Support dealers in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, both remotely and in the field.
Collect, analyze, and report product quality and reliability issues, preparing statistics and technical reports for internal stakeholders and factories.
Monitor service activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with other members of the Service Department, sharing knowledge, best practices, and field experience.
Deliver technical training sessions and support the development of dealer service staff competencies when needed.
Requirements
Technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, or Construction Equipment Engineering.
Strong knowledge and hands?on experience with electrical and hydraulic systems; experience with earthmoving or construction machinery is highly preferred.
Previous experience in a similar after-sales, technical support, or service management role.
Proven experience in dealer support and dealer network management.
Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong communication, problem?solving, and decision?making skills.
Team?oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Ability and willingness to share technical knowledge; previous training delivery experience would be considered an asset.
Availability to travel frequently within Italy and occasionally across Europe, including extended travel periods when required.
