/p h3Role Responsibilities: /h3 ul liLead and review key pricing activities, including account-level pricing support, benchmark and rate-change reviews, portfolio monitoring, and identification of emerging trends.
/li liLead the recalibration and enhancement of pricing models through robust analysis of claims and exposure data, refining pricing factors and model parameters.
/li liReview and enhance pricing methodologies used across the business to ensure alignment with best practice, underwriter needs, and commercial objectives.
/li liDrive improvements to pricing models and processes to increase automation, accuracy and scalability,



including transformation from Excel-based tools to robust, AI-powered platforms.
/li liDeliver regular portfolio reviews and performance insights, liaising with Underwriting and management to agree actions and track outcomes.
/li liPartner with the data team to ensure high-quality data capture to support reliable pricing and reporting.
/li liProvide technical guidance and support to Underwriters on pricing models.
/li liUndertake other reasonable duties as required, supporting wider team objectives and business priorities.
/li /ul h3Skills Experience: /h3 h3Essential: /h3 ul liBSc degree (or higher) in a numerical subject (e.g., Actuarial Science).
/li li5+ years' relevant experience in an actuarial role.
/li liProgressing towards FIA (or equivalent) qualification.
/li liAdvanced Excel skills, with a focus on robust model design and controls.
/li liProficiency in SQL and Python (or a similar programming language).
/li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying and delivering efficient, automated solutions.
/li liAbility to learn quickly and adapt to a changing, dynamic environment.
/li liStrong IT skills across Microsoft Office applications.
/li liExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
/li liStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
/li /ul h3Desirable: /h3 ul liExperience in general insurance pricing.
/li liNearly qualified (or qualified) actuary.
/li liStrong relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging and influencing non-actuaries.
