Process Technologist (Hot Rolling)
The successful candidate will join the internationalProcess Engineeringteam and will be involved in the development, optimization, and commissioning of steelmaking plants for customers worldwide.
Working closely with the Automation, Mechanical Engineering, and Process Engineering teams, the Process Technologist will contribute to improving process performance andsupporting plant start-up and ramp-up activities.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and optimize hot rolling process parameters.
Support the development, validation, and optimization of process models.
Collaborate with the Automation team to improve process control strategies and control logic.
Support commissioning, plant start-up, and ramp-up activities at customer sites worldwide.
Perform technical troubleshooting during start-up and commissioning phases.
Analyze process data and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Work within multidisciplinary international teams on complex industrial projects.
Requirements




Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Automation Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
At least5 years of experienceas a Process Engineer, Process Technologist, Process Specialist, or in a similar role.
Solid knowledge ofhot rolling processeswithin the steel industry.
Experience in process modelling and simulation.
Hands-on experience with plant commissioning and start-up activities.
Good command of the English language.
Willingness to travel internationally.
