ph3Overview /h3 pbMaintenance Manager – Casalpusterlengo, Italy /b /p pWe make refractory bricks and castables — the tough materials that keep high‑temperature industrial processes running safely. Our Casalpusterlengo site is highly automated, which means our equipment needs to be looked after properly if we want production to keep moving. /p pThat’s where you come in. We’re looking for a Maintenance Manager who can keep the plant running smoothly, lead the maintenance team, and make sure machinery and facilities stay reliable, safe, and efficient. /p pbThe Role /b /p pYou’ll run the entire maintenance function on site. That means everything from coordinating planned work to jumping on urgent issues when they appear. You’ll manage a team of mechanical and electrical technicians, work with external contractors, keep an eye on equipment performance, and make sure the plant stays compliant and in good working order. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage maintenance activities across production equipment, facilities, machinery, and utilities /li liPlan and oversee routine and extraordinary maintenance work /liliLead and develop mechanical and electrical technicians (internal and external) /li liCoordinate external contractors and ensure they work safely and effectively /li liManage spare parts procurement, inventory,



and the warehouse /li liMonitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues quickly /li liSupport continuous improvement initiatives with production and technical teams /li liManage the maintenance budget and optimise spending /li liPrepare regular reports on maintenance activities and machine performance /li liContribute to the selection and purchase of new equipment /li liHelp create training materials on maintenance and proper machine use /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pYou’ll suit this role if you bring: /p ul liSolid experience in maintenance within an industrial manufacturing environment /li liStrong mechanical and electrical skills (hands‑on experience is very welcome) /li liA steady leadership style with the ability to guide and grow a technical team /li liGood organisation skills and problem‑solving ability (not just tick‑boxes) /li liFlexibility to handle urgent issues when they arise /li liGood understanding of occupational health and safety standards /li liConfident computer literacy /li liA Bachelor’s / Masters’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred, particularly with proven experience in electrical systems.
