In the frame of the growth and sustainability roadmap of Fluorinated Polymers, Syensqo Specialty Polymer Italy is looking for a high potential chemical engineer with a good knowledge of physical phenomena, computational skills and the ability to combine the excellence of the technical content of their work with efficient time management and communication skills.

The mission of the role will be to develop, design or optimize processes related to existing or new products in the Specialty Polymer portfolio.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

The Process Engineer is responsible for leading site-based Process Engineering projects and activities that drive continuous improvement, sustainability,



new products industrialization and capacity expansions.

The main responsibilities can be summarized as follows:

· Contribute to improve the performances of existing installations, also participating in capacity optimization and waste reduction projects.

· Lead new product industrialization and scale-up projects from our Research & Innovation team including handoff and training to the operations team.

· Lead new equipment and processes start-up. Provide process expertise for equipment design and act as a key contributor to capital project execution

· Support operations to resolve recurring process problems and provide robust process solutions.

· Promote an observable culture of process safety and quality within their organizational control.

Education and Experience

● Master Degree or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering

● Previous professional experience in process design and development is a plus.
