Purpose of the Position

Commissioning and Maintenance Production Superintendent – part of the Commissioning Department of Business Line Energy Carriers within the Bioraffineria project based in Livorno.

Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of the process plant, promoting compliance with Company QHSE policies, procedures, and management systems while maintaining high operational standards.
- Manage work permits, isolations, and process safety controls,

ensuring all activities are executed in accordance with risk assessments, permit-to-work requirements, and applicable safety procedures.
- Lead commissioning, start-up, and operational activities, coordinating personnel, vendors, licensors, and contractors to achieve project and production objectives safely and effectively.
- Develop and manage production personnel, including shift planning, training, competency assessment, performance management, and continuous development of operations teams.
- Drive plant performance and operational excellence, overseeing maintenance coordination, production procedures, laboratory activities, safety reviews (HAZOP/PSSR), reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the plant lifecycle.

Qualifications

Education: Technical Diploma / Degree in Engineering field.

Experience: Relevant experience as Commissioning and Maintenance Production Superintendent.
