Within the Innovation & Data team of Generali Real Estate, we are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer & AI Platforms Senior Associate who will play a key role in the evolution of our Data & AI ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Data & AI architectures, cloud technologies, scalable software development and production deployment practices. The role is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining scalable Data & AI architectures and developing data solutions that ensure the timely and accurate availability of data across the organization. This position sits at the intersection of Data Engineering, Platform Engineering and AI Enablement, with a strong focus on building production-grade solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with Data Scientists to industrialize AI models and with business stakeholders to accelerate the adoption of data-driven and AI-powered solutions. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop and evolve the core components of the Data & AI Platform,
providing technical leadership on architectural decisions and ensuring a scalable, reliable and future-ready foundation that supports advanced analytics, predictive AI and Generative AI use cases across the organization. * Build and oversee robust, scalable and high-performance data pipelines, establishing engineering best practices to ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation and distribution, while embedding data quality, observability and governance by design. * Drive the evolution of the platform roadmap, assessing emerging technologies, identifying innovation opportunities and contributing to the definition of the long-term Data & AI architecture strategy. * Lead the industrialization of predictive and Generative AI solutions, partnering with Data Scientists to transform prototypes and experimentation into secure, scalable and production-ready assets capable of delivering measurable business value. * Design and implement standards, engi
