What you'll do Conduct thorough analyses of a high volume of transaction monitoring alerts, making informed decisions regarding complex customer behaviors.
Handle escalated alerts by performing in-depth investigations to ascertain whether formal reporting is warranted.
Collaborate with Product and Data teams by providing insightful, data-driven feedback aimed at enhancing the precision of monitoring protocols.
Optimize alert management processes to reduce false positives,
thereby improving overall operational efficiency.
Guide and mentor junior analysts in transaction analysis, documentation practices, and recognizing patterns in data.
Keep meticulous records for each alert to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a defensible audit trail.
Investigate new and emerging trends in financial crime, translating your findings into actionable detection rules ready for implementation.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights and strategies for improving the effectiveness of our fraud detection systems.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure our operations align with current standards.
Contribute to the development of training materials and resources for new team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
