Job Description
The Security Manager is responsible for managing the Security Shift Managers and the day-to-day operations of the Security Department to ensure the safety and security of patrons and employees, as well as the safeguarding of all Belterra Casino Resort property. They are also responsible for ensuring that casino operations are conducted in accordance with State Gaming Regulations, and that casino patrons are not engaged in illegal activities.
The Security Manager:
Delivers superior internal and external guest service.
Resolves guest complaints and ensures that the highest level of guest service is rendered at all times.
Responsible for hiring, training, motivating, evaluating, and supervising the management staff on all shifts to ensure they receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established objectives.
Understands department objectives, standards, guidelines, and budget to achieve effective supervision of department.
Communicates effectively and timely with all other members of Security Leadership.
Establishes and maintains training and development procedures to ensure extraordinary guest service standards are achieved.
Ensures that all company and departmental procedures are followed; assists various local, state and federal authorities in various activities and investigations to ensure that procedures and laws are observed.
