In this role you will contribute to a growing tax practice by supporting IRS examinations and related procedures, conducting in‑depth federal tax research, and drafting memoranda. You will collaborate with a national tax team to deliver innovative solutions while balancing work‑life commitments in a merit‑based environment. - Assist with IRS examinations and appeals, including responses to IDRs, Notices of Proposed Adjustments and preparation of protests
- Prepare penalty abatement requests and relief requests for missed elections
- Manage collection matters including Installment Agreements, Offers in Compromise and Collection Due Process Hearings
- Perform tax research and draft tax memoranda on a broad range of federal tax issues
- Contact the IRS Service Center and correspond on tax
